Results World Championship Hunting 2017

On October 29th to 31st, as it did for the Mediterranean Cup and the World Championship, the local kennel club put its staff, the grounds at Herm (Landes) and the city understructures at the CEB's disposal, to enable it to organise the 2017 Shoot-to-retrieve field-trials championship of the AICEB.
8 national teams -among which Turkey for its first participation at an AICEB championship- answered to the invitation to enter at this Automn Championship, which had not been organized since 2010, and was abandoned in the meanwhile due to the lack of entries.
So, 29 dogs were checked by Mrs. Chantal Cescon and Mr. Pierre Floiras for their morphological conformity to the breed standard.
The french team was awarded the first place (average rating of 15,5/20), followed by Turkey (15,33/20) and Italy ex-aequo with the Czech Republic at the third place (15,0/20).
Further, for the trial, the team members were distributed in the three batteries by toss, and competed under a nice automn sun, on October 30th and 31st, being judged by the ones invited to participate at this event: Mr. Jack Bolle (Netherlands), Mr. Jose-Luis Del Castillo (Spain), Mrs. Vladimira Dvorakova (Czech Republic), Mr. Pietro Gallo (Italy), Mr. Lutz Hildebrandt (Germany), and Mr. Marcel Peyrat (France).
14 dogs were awarded during the two days of a competition remarkable by its exemplary disposition (selectivity of the deep water retrieve test, compulsory to validate an eventual classification during the work on ground) and France got a nice first place with 45 points (all the dogs of the team having been classified) , then Italy (30 points), and Germany (8 points).
Individually, Jet du Grand Capricorne and Guss du Hameau de Sorny (France) were on the two first places with 19 and 14 points, preceding Jump des Oranges d'Eole(Portugal) with 11 points.
The representative of the german team had his two females at an ex-aequo rating for Best Female, and, finally Jaustine de la Vallée d'Orseval being the youngest one, received the award.
Everyone is invited to meet again at the end of March 2018 in the Champagne area, where the AICEB springtime championship will take place.
